Tomato and Mozzarella Bruschettas

List of Ingredients
  • 4 large slices of country-style bread
  • 250 g mozzarella cheese
  • 8 slices of cured ham (such as prosciutto)
  • 12 to 16 cherry tomatoes
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • A few fresh basil leaves
  • A few sprigs of fresh parsley
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper

THE STEPS OF THE RECIPE

Preheat your oven to 400°F.

Rub the slices of bread with a halved garlic clove.

Place the bread on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and drizzle lightly with olive oil.

Distribute the mozzarella evenly over the bread slices.

Add 3 to 4 halved cherry tomatoes on each slice.

Bake for about 8–10 minutes, until the cheese has melted nicely.

Remove from the oven and place 2 slices of cured ham on each bruschetta.

Sprinkle with fresh basil and parsley.

Season with a little salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil before serving immediately.
